Where are you from?

Sorry, I was mistaken. The program is not a program that you can complete online. It is a 4 week crash course. You can read about it here: http://www.newschannel9.com/vnews//988323459/?keywords=teaching:certificates

That's fine, but when the lecturer doesn't have the motivation to impart knowledge, it's a great loss for the students.
Also some of these people wouldn't have the knack of teaching well; I feel it's an innate talent - quite tough to learn. You first need inner power, to get the class' attention, keep them focussed, and make a clear presentation. Communication skills, ability to inspire the students, and get them involved in the class by cleverly leading them onto ask questions... all this is important.

I could agree with you more Nanjangud. Anyone can become a teacher, but not everyone can become a great teacher.

I am currently a student and work part time at CompUSA,(your computer super store ).
I had a discussion the other day with one of my co-workers who had just graduated with a degree in computer science. I asked her what her plans were and she responded that she wants to get her CCNA & A+ certs. In the meantime, while she studies for the certs., she proceeded to tell me, and I qoute, "I'm just going to get a Bullsh*t job teaching math or somethin'. I'll just take the new test to get qualified."
It just bothered me to know that she thinks of teaching kids is a "Bull" job. I think that teaching, especially kids, is one of the most important jobs anyone can have. That has lead me to think that since this new method of getting teachers qualified online that now there will be people like my co-worker all over the place. "Heh, just pay $200(or whatever) and I can teach! oh boy!" I just think that if you want to become a teacher they should do it because they want to do it and that they enjoy it.
Not because its just a temparary fix to make some quick $$$.
The education system is starting to get flushed down the toilet.

yah, yah I'm a newbie
These are all good answers, however none are the correct ones for the riddle.(even though they fit the criteria) I'll give a hint..the object is on the ground, not in the air.

Hi All-
I like riddles, so I thought it would be fun to have a riddle contest If you know a riddle post it and see if anyone can answer it! I'll go first:
"Whats as tall as a castle, light as air, and a million people couldn't move it?"

Hi All-
I have both, but I thought it would be interesting to see that if you had to make a choice between one which would it be?
Programmer's Guide to Certification (Mughal)
OR
Complete Java2 Certification (RHE)
These 2 are considered the best cert. books around and I totally agree. I myself, though I have no previous experience programming, would pick Mughal's book for its thoroughness and challenging excercises and questions.
Which would you choose?
just thought it would be fun

Hi All-
Check out this code:

When I compiled and ran the code it displayed "6" as the output.
I expected 3 to be displayed
Can anyone explain this?
Thanks!
