Hi,
Recently I completed IBM Certified Specialist - WebSphere Advanced Single Server Edition V4.0 and I got the certification package within two weeks

I would suggest to read the following materials to clear the exam (which I followed)
1) EJB 1.1 Specs ( lifecycle, transactions)
2) Servlet 2.2 and JSP 1.1 (except TagLib) Specs
3) DTDs (application_1_2, web-app_2_2, ejb-jar_1_1, application-client_1_2)
( u can get all the above from sun java site)
4) AAT
5) WebSphere Web Console
6) VisualAge Enterprise Edition V4.0
7) EJB Design guidelines
Also read the WebSphere RedBooks once.
one month preparation is enough to clear the exam.
I hope it helps.
Thanks

Safrole,
I planned to take the test on July 19th. I have object oriented programming experience for almost 3 years and some good understanding of UML.
Is it enough to study UML distilled by Martin Fowler and take mock exam from IBM site. can you suggest me some points.
what is exhibit and non-exhibit questions?

thanx in advance

hi joe,
I have completed the weblogic 6.0 exam last monday and passed.
Now how I have to get the certificate from BEA?
while taking exam the prometric people told they will send the
information to BEA.But in the BEA site it was mentioned like we have to register our name to receive the welcome kit within 3-6 weeks. My friends are telling that we have to send a copy of score report with a formal letter to the BEA?
can you tell me what you have to done after completing your exam.
thanx in advance
