Every so often (about 1% of the time), I am seeing a "NoRouteToHostException: No route to host: connect" error on a JDBC connnection. The host is the local host MySQL database which is up and running. Since it is a local host, I wouldn't expect it to go to the network (or DNS server). What would cause this periodic occurence of a connection failure in this situation.
