I guess they are authorized. I am sharing my experience from yesterday when whizlabs website mentioned $300 for SCEA exam voucher while Sun itself was selling the same exam voucher for $200

Today whizlabs website changed the price to $200 and if you chat with one of their customer support members, they are selling it for $150. But here is the catch, you need to buy it for $200 from the website and then whizlabs will refund $50. If they don't refund, you don't have any proof that price was $150.

Also, the discount in promotional email I received was not honored saying the email was by mistake !! Height of doing online business.

I wanted to make people aware of it who might be buying relevant certification vouchers from whizlabs. People going for SCEA may not be looking in SCJP forum and vice versa and will not know about the issue with whizlabs.

I wanted to buy exam voucher from whizlabs and this is what I went through.
Anybody had better/worse experience to resolve it with whizlabs (Note, the supervisor himself admits the mistakes on chat)
