Hello gentlemen,

I have some questions about the content of the exam, if someone can help me it would be really fine.

My question is about the topic Using EJB Technology Best Practices:
- Define best practices and state the benefits of using EJB technology best practices
- Select and apply known patterns to Java EE application design

Which are those best practices and know patterns? Where can I find material on the subject?

There are some other questions, just to be sure:
Do I have to study design patterns?
Do I have to know web services?

I guess that's it.

Thanks for the attention,
I wish success for us all, bye!

Congratulations Alexandre !!!
You probably mean May 25.

Oh, that's right!
I mean May 25.
Updating information:

I sent my assigment (project) to Oracle's e-mail at April 17,
I took the part 3 essay at April 29,
They sent the result of the certification exam at June 25...

And I passed,
No score though.
I am still getting the "You do not have the rights to upload that assignment" message though.
Yes Teja Saab, You're right, I'm gonna do this right away!
Thanks a lot for everything!

sivan jai, could you please post here when you get any answer, or anything?
Good luck for both of us, !
Hey Teja Saab,

Thank you for the reply!

I didn’t do the essay yet. I did every thing else, though!

I didn’t schedule the essay cuz I think they will have to evaluate my project first, so the essay's questions can be based on the project done, you see?

I remember that I read in some where that after you upload your assignment you will have to wait till they update it in the CentManager site, but, since the update process has changed, I’m not sure anymore.

So I’m afraid to schedule the essay too early.

Best regards.
Hi guys, I had a problem in uploading my assignment on CertManager, I was getting the message: “You don’t have rights to upload this assignment”, I tried to get in touch with the guys from Sun, but it was taking to long to get an answer!

Finally someone told me that I had to send an e-mail to suncert_ww@oracle.com, which I did, then they replied me to send the assignment to architect-submit_US@oracle.com, which I also did last Friday.

My question is: What about now?
How long is it gonna take to update my situation on this certification process?
How am I suppose to see the updated information? On CertManager site? Or do I have to wait for a reply from them?

Thanks very much for the attention,
Cheers!
Hi guys,
I used Jude (Astah) to make the diagrams, then I used “copy to clipboard” option as .emf files, then I used Image Analyzer software just to paste the images and saved it as .png files.
Using the command line above, my .jar size got about 243 KB and, the images quality is very good!
Thanks all and best of luck!
Hello all,

I’m intending to send a Communication Diagram to show the interaction/navigation between my project’s JSP pages, what do you think about that?
Is the Communication Diagram the best choice to show this interaction/navigation? (Something like a faces-config’s navigation rules does).

Best regards.
Hello,

One question: in the JAR file can I put image files like "jpg", etc, or can I just put "html"'s files?
If just "html"'s files are allowed how I insert a image file inside a "html" file?

Thanks, Best regards.
