is it a JAVA LOGO WITH YOUR NAMES ON IT or what ??!!! and where you use it ??
Hi Tariq,
Thanks for mailing the details. Our records indicate that you have earned the following credentials:
Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer
Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 5/SE 6
Currently you will not be able to download the logos from Certmanager. Please note that you will not be able to view the SUN exams through Certview. The SUN exams will be merged to Oracle Database only by mid 2011. You have to view the SUN exam details through Certmanager as before.
We are working on the Oracle logos and you will be able to download the same in few weeks.
Regards,
OCP Team

Q: Will my certificate be from Sun or Oracle?
A: It depends on when you complete the last certification requirement for your track:
* If you completed all of your Java, Oracle Solaris, Oracle Solaris Cluster, MySQL, NetBeans and OpenOffice.org exams before September 1, 2010, you will receive a Sun-branded certification kit.
* If you completed your last exam for these tracks on or after September 1, 2010, you will receive an Oracle certification kit.
Q: Will I receive a hard copy or soft copy certificate?
A: Hard copies of Sun-branded kits will continue to be mailed only through November 30, 2010. After November 30, 2010, candidates who earned Sun-branded certifications will begin receiving their certifications through email (i.e. I.D. cards and hard copies of certificates will no longer be sent).
Now,I gave my exam on 18th September and got my exam report under Oracle. Having said that the Sun-branded kits would be mailed only till November 30th, can I expect to receive hard-copy of the Oracle certification kit? I don't think the kits under Oracle would stop being distributed as hard-copies.
And yes, a hard-copy of the certification kit is preferable.
Mike Peters wrote:As I remember correctly you first have to verify your personal information. From the oracle site:
1. Log into certmanager.net/sun
If it is your first time logging into the database, you may need the information on your test score report
2. Verify your demographic information
3. Before you can download a logo, you must complete the logo agreement form. Choose Complete a Form. All certifications that you have will have a corresponding logo agreement form. If there is no form listed for your certification, it means that certification does not have a corresponding logo. This is true for some partner certifications, and employee certifications.
4. Once you have completed the logo agreement form, choose Download Logos. Your logo will be listed as a downloadable zip file.
5. If you ever need to download the logo again, it is available in the Download Logos area
I hope this helps.
