I need to store certain information in WAS 6, so that its available to all the instances in the cluster. I am not sure what is the best place to store such infirmation.

One choice is database, but I will prefer if we can store it in the Application Server.

I was wondering is the "Application Context" a suitable place to store such information?

Thanks in advance.

Hello friends,

In my project, I am considering using Http GET method to send some important information (I know this not why we should be using GET but that us another issue). I will be sending this information over SSL.

My question is, will the browser encrypt query-string information before sending it over the wire?

Thanks in the anticipation, any reference link is highly appreciated.

Hi,
I want to increase the font size for this site. I use IE 6. Somehow the feature provided be IE to increase the font size does not work for this site. It causes lot of inconveniece to the me, who find it difficult to read smaller fonts.

Is there some alternative way to increase the font size?

Nikil may you elaborate on the extra features provided by toad?
I mean, is there any special feature provided by DBVisualizer which are not there in DB2's UI Tools,

Personally I found DB2 Development center quite useful?
Hi Moderators,

In Javaranch we have forums for different technologies which are based on Java. I suggest that we should have one for plug-in based development using Eclipse RCP. considering the popularity it has acheieved in the recent past. Yes we do have a separate forum for SWT and JFaces but developing RCP Plug-in is slightly different

Best Regards

You definitely have a Boston accent, even if you think you don't. Of course, that doesn't mean you are from the Boston area, you may also be from New Hampshire or Maine.

Hi dave,

We use Rational Portfolio Manager in our current project. I have also used MS Project for similar purposes in my previous projects.

Can you kindly specify how different (or better) is the Extreme Planner from the other products available for Project planning and tracking.
