I just passed the exam 288 " Web Services" from IBM last Saturday. I would like to share my experience for those who are thinking to take it:
1- Read the J2EE Web services book (author: Richard Monson-Haefel).
2- Run the examples in the IBM book more than once if you can. Big part of the exam is covered in those examples.

4- Read other articles about UDDI, SOAP, WSDL, JSR 109, JAX-RPC.
