in EJB, if a weblogic application Server Crashes where the application information will be stored...?

Thank you very much Lasse for your fine reply
Thanks Lasse and Rangarajan for your replies.Rangarajan can you briefly tell me in what way the purpose and mechanism are different.
What informations that application.xml will hold?
How do you update multiple records using entity bean? Is that possible?
Can I say a session scope in JSP bean as Stateful session bean?
Simple way to tell the difference between Stateful session and Entity bean between is Stateful session bean maintains a conversational state and Entity beans are persistant as they can manintain the state even during server crash,it is not the same caese with stateful session beans.
