I mainly used the book "The XML Bible". Why did I choose it? Because I somehow got one for free 2 years ago . IMHO, it's good for XML beginners, but not good enough to let you pass this exam.
Other chapters I chose to use:
1.) XML in a Nutshell: Chapter 9: XPath
2.) Professional XML: Chapter 6: SAX 1.0: The Simple API for XML
3.) W3School: beginners tutorial for XML, XSL, DTD...
4.) DOM specification.\
Next goal is SCEA.

Got up at 7:00am today (haven't got up so early in the past 3 years). Took the exam at 8:30am. I was told that's the only time available today when I called the test center two days ago (looks like more and more people are taking all kinds of certifications now). Passed the exam with 78%.
Some information to share with anyone who will take this exam in the future.
My Background:
I haven't ever written a single line of XML in my life until now, but I have some real world experiences in J2EE, HTML, and CSS etc.
Preparation:
Took about 4 months (but the actually time might be just 2 months), average ~ 2 hours/day. Read through the XML Bible twice, and read 2 ~ 3 other XML links recommended by this site, including W3School web tutorials.
Mock Exams:
I scored very bad on those mock exams.
Real Exam:
A little bit tougher and trickier than the mock ones. Time is just fine to me.
Anyway, I feel very lucky to pass the exam. This is a great site.
Thanks!
