I have defined an Application Scoped Work manager (my.app.wm). This my.app.wm is assigned to all the ear's in my application. When i run the app and do monitoring through weblogic console, i find not only the requests handled by my.app.wm but also more number of requests handled by default WM. Our team has identified through logs that all the POST requests are handled by the my.app.wm and the GET requests are handled by the default WM. this explanation is satisfactory in terms of the request handled by my.app.wm but we are still not sure about the requests that are handled by the default WM.
How do we identify which request is handled by which WM. Here are the two approaches that come in my mind
1. If there is a possiblity of customizing weblogic access-log then maybe we may do something to also include the
thread name, that will help us identify which WM is handling which request
2. Use of WorkManager API. I know that we can access the WorkManager using the WorkManager API (i foudn it in javaranch itself). But the question is "Does the WorkManager object also tell us what request it handles at runtime"
Thanks in advance
