Client is a specialized turn key consulting company with a specific vertical focus in the financial services industries.
This is a hands on development positions where strong technology and financial skills are required. Fix: � Protocol - design, architecture and implementation.
� Vendors - extensive background in fix protocol vendor products
� Integration - expertise in equity and fixed income integration
� Version 4.4 - an added bonus
� Must have hands on hard core development expertise
Messaging: � Should have extensive expertise in designing, developing and deploying complex messaging infrastructures.
� MQ expertise required including administration, configuration, design and implementation.
� Should be familiar with XML messaging including: modeling, parsing, translating/transforming and
SOAP.
� Extensive systems integration work using messaging would be required.
Development expertise:
� .Net expertise ideal,
Java skills OK. Must be strong hands on developer with extensive knowledge of FIX protocol
Operating Systems: � Unix Sun Solaris and Microsoft
Application Development:
� Strong financial application development in equities and fixed income trading and B2B application development
Relationship skills: � This is a senior level position and a breadth of other skills are required e.g:
� Excellent interpersonal skills
� Strong presentation skills
� Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
