I just downloaded Jigloo Plugin for eclipse3.0 for gui java application dovelopment .. I just extracted the plugin to the eclipse directory in my root.. ie c:\eclipse.. After that i started my eclipse.. and pressed ctrl+n .. here i am suppose to find the GUI FORMS which happens to be that of the JIgloo plugin.. but its missing .. i tried my best to find the soln for this.. but in vain..

Same thing happened with the v4all plugin.. then i found that eclipse3.0 wont support v4all.

As for as Jigloo is concerned . it does support Eclipse3.0.

ECLIPSE Experts.. please wear a Thinkin Caps if required and help solving this problem .. i will be thankful

Expecting your Replies

Have you checked your "Plug-in Details" to make sure the plugin is installed correctly? Go to Help->About. Then click Plug-in Details. Jigloo should show up in the list. If it doesn't, then Eclipse does not know about your plugin. Also check your errors view and see if there is any information there.

Hope it helps!

Have you tried File -> New -> Other -> GUI Forms?

Hi Barry,

Well i checked the Help--->About -->Plugin info.. as you said my Jigloo pluginis not at all there.. but i am sure that i have extracted it to the eclipse folder in my root and in the plugin folder and the Feature folders have the Jigloo folders respectively...

Even i checked in the View Error log.. and i could see some exceptions as follows.. i will just copy and paste the Exceptions..

Try starting up Eclipse with the "-clean" startup option. This should cause Eclipse to refresh its pluginj cache information. If that does not work, try deleting your Eclipse "configuration" directory (it is recreated on startup). If that does not work, then you either have something very wrong with your Eclipse installation (and should re-install it) or you have not installed Jigloo properly. For Jigloo help, you might also try the Jigloo Support Forum.
