My name is Phillip Bue and I am the Sr. Recruiter with TSG. For over 20 years, TSG IT Resources has provided clients in the information technology arena nationwide with the technical and administrative expertise to meet or exceed their IT objectives. Our Client in the Chicago Loop is in need of Senior Developer - FX Options On-line Dealing � Client Interface for a 6 month project.
Job Description;
Responsible for design, prototyping, implementation, testing and deployment of highly interactive, web-based user interface for downloading market data and indicative pricing, entering option trade parameters, performing �what-if� analyses, negotiating price and submitting trade requests.
Technical Skills: Should have prior hands-on experience designing and implementing trading system user interfaces based on a service-oriented architecture and J2EE back end. Must have detailed knowledge of how to build real-time, interactive Java SWING client-side applications with professional look and feel and integrate them into a financial services portal. It would be a strong plus to have experience with WebLogic Server, JMS and XML. Experience with alternative client-side technologies (Macromedia Shockwave, Flash, Visual Basic, C#, etc) is a plus.
Business Knowledge: Must have experience in capital markets trading with understanding of typical trading workflows as well as basic pricing theory. Strong plus to have understanding of valuation models for FX options.
Leadership Skills: Must have proven record for ability to implement quality solutions under time pressure. Should also have experience working with business users to define requirements and review prototypes. Candidate must have strong commitment to and understanding of software quality processes appropriate for high-availability systems.
