Does IDEA support Ruby & Groovy syntax? Does it need plugins for this?

Hello Raghu,
The standard installation of IntelliJ IDEA 6 doesn't support Ruby or Groovy. A Ruby plugin is currently in active development at JetBrains:

A Groovy plugin is being developed by the Groovy developers, but as far as I know the work is not proceeding very quickly:
