Hi,

I'd like to develop a simple application for my own educational purpose. It's not destined to be published ever. I do know the benefits of version control even for small projects. Since I travel quite a lot I'd like to access my code from everywhere. Does anyone know of a hosting service (preferably free) that could offer me a solution? Does Sourceforge allow project owners to deny public access for an unlimited time?

Source forge repositories automatically have public access.

If I were you, I'd probably google for "svn hosting". Can't give you more concrete advice, sorry.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
