Do you mean how to write plugins, or where to find plugins?

There's about 3 major sites that are good places to find Eclipse plugins, but there's no master repository where every plugin you could possibly want resides.

I just started on my first Eclipse plugin and someone gave me this book. I can not compare, but I like it. It builds a sample plugin with all aspects involved.
