... and spent the last 3 as a Project Manager. This is the sort of stupidity that constantly comes out of HR departments. J2EE was launched in Dec 1999. There are likely to be a few people with 5 years experience, all of them worked for Sun in Oct 1999. Any that have been Project Managers since 2001, have a couple of years on an old version.

What they really want is someone who lies well.
