I think I m in correct forum.
I m niwbie to Ant.
One of the task given by Ant's Documentation is "Ant", which takes param "target".
Doc says that :
target => the target of the new Ant project that should be executed.
in Example they have given:
<ant antfile="subproject/subbuild.xml" dir="subproject" target="compile"/>
First, I do not know what is "compile"?? I can understand that it is to compile the antfile. But I could not find any detail abt "compile" in documetaion. What is "compile"?
Second, is ther any other such targets defined by Ant? Where can I get list of such projects(as per Ant)??
TIA

Have you read this article by Thomas Paul? It is an excellent introduction to Ant. I would recommend having it opened in one browser and the Ant docs in another.
