Hey fellas,
I started to use Ant in my work since this month, but here in my place I'm trying to configure the environment with no success. I'm using Windows XP Professional... take a look in my environment configuration steps:
1. CLASSPATH:
%CLASSPATH%;C:\j2sdk_nb\j2sdk1.4.2\jre\lib\rt.jar;C:\j2sdk_nb\j2sdk1.4.2\lib\tools.jar;%JAVA_HOME%\lib;%ANT_HOME%\lib;.
2. JAVA_HOME:
C:\j2sdk_nb\j2sdk1.4.2\
3. ANT_HOME:
C:\apache-ant\
4. Path:
%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\PROGRA~1\ULTRAE~1;%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%ANT_HOME%\bin
Now the java exception message when calling ant.bat:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Ant
Can anyone help me?
Tks a lot!

Have you tried replacing the variables ANT_HOME and JAVA_HOME in the PATH and CLASSPATH with the actual values. Looks like a path problem
