The UI Engineer is responsible for design and development of web-based products.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Organizing requirements into development tasks
-Implementing software design in Java/J2EE environment.
-Designing, testing and documenting software
-Assisting in defining test plans for verification and validation
-Participating in design and code reviews
-Prioritizing and resolving maintenance issues and providing operational support as needed


Technical in order of priority
-3 or more years commercial experience with developing UI of Web applications
-Demonstrated commercial experience with Java, J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, Struts, Servlets, Tag libraries/JSTL, HTML, CSS
-Experience with design patterns
-Object-oriented programming
-Understanding of the RUP methodology
-Knowledge of Junit, StrutsTestCase or other testing tool.
-Experience with ClearCase is a plus.
-Experience with WebShpere is a plus.

Non Technical
-Excellent interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills are essential.
-Excellent problem solving skills with �can do� attitude.
-Able to work independently, self-motivated and directed.
-Quick learner, eager to leverage new technologies in a dynamic team environment.
-Demonstrated ability to deliver quality product on time and generate innovative solutions

-Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
