war file deployment on tomcat startup, doesnt always work.

war file deployment on tomcat startup, doesnt always work.

I have to deploy web app on remote tomcat servers, but I have ssh in between.

Thats why I have copy the way file, and shutdown the tomcat.

Then restart the server.


But, there are times performing this way to deploy application, the web app doesnt get installed.

I see it deploying, but after I delete the war file, (which is waiting for 30 secs), the web app is longer there

Any ideas.
