calling perl program thru Ant task

How can i call perl program thru Ant task within the build.xml ? Any perl specific task is available ?

There are no Perl-specific tasks, but the built-in "Exec" task can run any system command. It's probably built around Runtime.exec. Check the Ant documentation for details.
