Hi!

Can anyone tell me, how to compile only modified source files in a project using ANT tool.

I have found few things like to use "update" target in build.xml file and few others are using some other techniques but no one is clear in explaining.

Thanks.

What you are asking for is actually the default behavior of the javac task. See the second paragraph at http://ant.apache.org/manual/CoreTasks/javac.html
