Where do I get free software to burn the Linux ISO files?

Hello Java Ranchers. Could you tell me where I could find free cd burning software to burn the Linux ISO images? I allready used the trial version of EasyCDCreator, and it timed out and won't let me install again. Any help would be great as I can't wait to get rid of Windows 2000 for Linux. I'd like to install linux because I hope it is more stable than win2k and 98. Is it? Any distro that does not crash all the time? I'd like to use it to surf the net and use forte to create java programs. Thanks again, Prem.

try this one: x-cd-roast.
As far as using JDK from Sun, I think Redhat is the only one that been tested by Sun. However, I'm pretty sure you can get it to work on Debian and other distros.
And if you are new to linux, Redhat should work pretty good for you.
