how to access samba in Linux from windows

please can anybody say how to configure samba in Linux and how to access the samba in windows. its very urgent

My samba configuration file is 170 lines long, so it's a bit of a pain to describe how to get samba configured in a message. The smb.conf man page briefly describes the parameters in the configuration file, but you may need to play around with things until you get it right.
