Hi guys.

I am developing an application that performs various tasks and when completed it will create an xml file containing the tasks and results. The user then can launch a web browser to open and view the xml file. This is possible with Internet Explorer 5 or newer. But if this application is deployed on a Unix enviroment with Netscape installed, can the user view the xml files in Netscape? And if so from what version.

Thanks
Barney

Netscape 4 cannot display XML. Netscape 6 or 7 may be able to but I don't know how it will look (almost certainly quite different from what IE does).

I use firebird 0.9, a very recent version of mozilla aka netscape.

It shows the xml with syntax-highlightening and with - and + signs, which allow to fold subsections.
