Hi there,
Can someone explain to me what the difference developing Java in Linux 32 bit and Linux 64 bit?
I have amd 64 and thought to install 64 bit distribution and using it as Java development OS but not sure about the advantages it has over the 32 bit environment. Also Don't know if the code is possible to run on 32 bit. What I know that I must install the 64 bit version of the JDK, but what about (for example) Netbeans, Tomcat, JBoss?

Thanks in advance

I'd appreciate it if you pronounced my name correctly. Pinhead, with a silent "H". Petite ad:
