i have a 3 form elements eg called as. DocID ,All and zustand.
zustand is a array of selection boxes, my question is that if a user selects a option from select box(zustand) , then the element number of the selection box should be popped up!
To give u a scenario , say for example im selecting the select box (under zustand!! )if i select the 3rd selectbox(zustand[2]) then i should get its element number in this case which is 11. (select box what i selected is the 11th element of this form--which is the answer but i dont know how to put this interms of codecan u help me??)

I'm not sure on this without looking into it, but just off the top of my head you could loop through the form elements and when you find the one matching the one you selected, check the value of your counter. Hope that makes sense.
Thank you my well lotioned goddess! Here, have my favorite tiny ad!
