I have tried and tried to insert a dropdown into a page but it will not show.
below is the section of the page I wish to inset the drop down into. It has a search-text box on the left and text (counter) on the right.
No matter howwhere I insert the select it will not show. Any ideas on what I am leaving out or what could be wrong please...

Thanks for the suggestion.
I already had it in table tags but I nticed late last night that the problem might not be the code. No matter how I change the page the changes will not show. I can make alterations to the JSP and re-deploy the war to localhoast but IE is still pulling the original copy. Very odd problem. Anyone have a suggestion? I tried dumping the cache but that right is limited to admins only.
