As a Senior Designer you will be extensively involved in the design and implementation of web sites for The Walt Disney Company�s online properties, including Disney.com, ESPN.com, ABC.com, ABCNEWS.com, Movies.com and others. Areas of responsibility include user interface design, site design, development of Flash-based applications, and design of mobile and broadband internet user interfaces. Reporting to the Creative Director for Media Production, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of new systems, features, and enhancements as well as supporting the maintenance of existing products. Qualified candidates have experience designing and building leading web sites with an emphasis on quality, completeness and on time delivery. This is a great opportunity to work with a talented technical team and a leading media company.


* Bachelors degree in Design.
* 6-8 years of experience working in the new media field.
* Candidate should have an expert level understanding of Flash on the front and back end.
* Expert working knowledge of HTML, DHTML, CSS and web standards.
* Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, browser compatibility and content publishing systems.
* Experience building new media applications � mobile phones, broadband, video distribution over multiple platforms, wireless, etc.
* Experience building large scale media sites and smaller scale marketing sites.


* Flash development and design. HTML, DHTML, CSS
* Web Standards skills.
* Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Understanding of database integration.
* PHP and AJAX skills preferred.
