i am displaying list of years in a listbox from 1910 to currentyear.
I written the code like this
<select name="xyx" >
<script language="javascript">
var today = new Date();
var year = today.getYear();
for(i=1910;i<=year;i++){
document.write("<option>"+i+"</option>");
}
</script>
</select>

Is this is good approach or not? if not can anyone provide alternative to it

I would perfer to do this on the server, but that is an okay way to do it. The only other way to do it on the client is to hardcode all of the values or use JavaScript's new Option(text,value).
