AJAX call works in ie6 but not in firefox

Hello, I have some AJAX functions on my jsp page.



And in the body of my page i have the following,



As you can see the page resubmits to itself, but nothing displays when I am using firefox, only ie and ie6. thanks for any help.

are you sure that your function is getting called.
sure an alert message to check the responseText
alert(req.responseText);

Just glancing at the code real quick, it looks fine.

Hi Eric, strange thing happened.

I added a br tag element after the table and it now works in firefox:

Strange.
By the way, really looking forward to AJAX in Action.
