Responsibilities
�Build and lead a team of Developers and QA Engineers in the Shanghai Development Center.
�Drive the team toward project objectives; understand schedule deadlines by managing expectations both up and down in the organization
�Understand the big picture of projects as well as the product feature set.
�Own project delivery and adherence to delivery schedules & quality processes
�Coordinate and communicate with other global teams (Support, Engineering) to ensure that project deliverables are on time.
�Help team resolve problems, blocking issues, or progress on their activities
�Own the resolution of supporting and/or non-project related issues that impact the execution of the projects
�Regularly review the project�s planning, estimation, and manage progress in compliance with SaaS project management system/process.
�Compile and review weekly project status information
�Recommend additional corrective actions as appropriate and ensure corrective action is progressing adequately
�Proactively perform risk management when necessary
�Identify and track critical project metrics
�Acquire, develop and implement best practices across the teams
�Manage, coach and motivate team
�Assist team with career development and developing career path strategies aligned with Business Objects work assignment objectives. This includes succession planning and performance development planning.
�Identify and hire top talent into the organization.

Requirements:
�Bachelors of Computer Science or higher with 10+ years of relevant experience
�Strong web application development experience (web UI/JSP/JavaScript/Tomcat or JBOSS), Java, MySQL(and database design/query knowledge), XML, object oriented programming skills.
�Knowledge of Web 2.0, CSS, web services, Struts, SSL, ports, TCP/IP, cookies and AJAX will be an asset.
�Experience building and managing teams of 10+ people, including both development and QA.
�Strong project management skills and successful estimate project and track progressing record.
�Proven ability to work and manage relationships in a world-wide cross-functional team environment, to collaborate in the effort to achieve common goals.
�Excellent written and oral English and Chinese skills.
�Excellent team building, organization and interpersonal skills.
