We're looking for a Java developer to come own a new product line we're creating in Macromedia Flash/Actionscript 3 - which is very similar to Java. Please send resumes to jobs@bunchball.com. Thanks, - rajat

Client Software Engineer

You'll own Bunchball's next generation product and be focused primarily on the user-facing components. You'll be crafting small, powerful client applications in Flash (ActionScript 3) for deployment across the web and desktop (Apollo). Java experience will be a huge plus here, as AS3 and Java are very similar. This is cutting edge work, my friend, and if you don't know it already, you'll be learning Flash & AS3 from the best. You will also work on the interactive web applications/sites that support these new initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience with object-oriented framework and design
  • Experience connecting to back-end services
  • Experience writing user-facing code
  • Ability to write clean, coherent code
  • Ability to understand and master new technologies quickly
  • Thrive on developing innovative ideas and executing them
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and to teach

  • Desired but not required:

  • Experience with client-side Java or Flash
  • Familiarity with Eclipse
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and W3C DOM
  • Knowledge of PHP, Java or other web application language

And fun; don't forget fun!

We have funding from Granite Ventures and Adobe Ventures. We're building a fast company, we're disrupting a large, growing market, we're signing paying customers, and we're assembling a great team. This is your chance to be part of it, to say you were there at the beginning.

We offer competitive salary, equity and benefits.
Send resumes, portfolios, links to blogs, websites, etc. to jobs@bunchball.com
