Responsibilities

As a Web Application Developer, you will work with leading-edge technologies such as CSS, DHTML, AJAX, XML, and Java to conceptualize, design, and develop highly interactive Internet and Intranet web-based applications.
  • Create conceptual Application UI design.

  • Provide concerned parties with accurate product specifications along with prototypes for review.
  • Design and implementation of presentation layer. Technologies used are: CSS, DHTML, AJAX, Velocity, Struts and J2EE.
  • Work with other members of the development team to incorporate a user-centered design approach to software development

  • Requirements
    • 3+ years OO software design and development experience with Java
    • 3+ years experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, DHTML and Java Servlet programming. Exposure to ASP, ActiveX, and .Net a plus.
    • 1+ years of experience with Struts, Velocity, JSP or similar MVC framework a must.
    • Experience writing valid cross-browser DHTML preferred.
    • Experience in UI design, HCI development, with experience in graphic design preferred.
    • Ability to contribute to the overall usability of the product by making recommendations on UI style and consistency that will ensure intuitive, user-centered products.
    • Systems management experience strongly preferred.
    • Proven knowledge of latest web-based or lightweight application frameworks and their interactions with backend systems.
    • Excellent technical communication skills and the ability to work in an extremely collaborative environment are required.
    • Extensive software development experience on Windows and UNIX and knowledge of Distributed Computing.
    • Ability to work in a team environment, with a hands-on, proactive attitude.
    • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

    • Relocation: Maybe some low cost assistance.

      Salary: 65K � 80K�Commensurate with experience.
