IMO, this was a good decision. They wanted to make Pakistan bat the same day...the minute Yuvraj got out they declared!! What's wrong with that? They didn't want to send a new guy in and take another 5 overs off...till Sachin makes his 200
Just bcos its 1st innings you can't keep batting the whole of the 2nd day...675 was already a great score and a score they could win with...and that is what matters...not shaving off another 1/2 hour for one of our star batsmen to add another record to his stats... :roll:

But when he expressed his disappointment in the media...that just didn't gel well with his character (that I had previously associated with him)

It just came as a rude shock to me when I read that interview. The team is doing well and one of the veterans expresses his disappointment over the team strategy!!! How would that go down with the young guys in the team???
