Closing the child window should trigger some action in Parent window.

Hi,

I have a screen in which I enter some criteria and click on Submit button. This opens up a separate window for processing my request. Once the child window finishes processing, it generates an excel report and prompts the user to open/save. I want the submit button in the parent window to remain disabled until the report comes back or the child window is closed. Otherwise the submit button should be enabled back.
Can anyone help me in this?

You should be able to handle the "close child window" case with an onClose handler in the child window.
