Has anyone used Java to access COM?

Yes, I know somebody did. He wrote Java com object and embarrassed some Microsoft speaker who did not know Java can do that.

Hi,
There is a tool called jintegra which u can get from www.linar.com . I used that tool for accessing a COM/DCOM, ActiveX dll. You just have to supply the dll to that tool. It creates a set four Java Proxy classes. So, u just have to instansiate and invoke the methond. Moreover, u can have that dll in a remote system.
