Congratulations everybody!
As to which books and authors I would like to see: We've already had my favorite author, Martin Fowler here. Of course, I would always enjoy hearing from him again, maybe this time in the "OO,
Patterns, UML and Refactoring" forum. In the same forum, it would be awesome if we could get some of the Gang of Four, i.e. the authors of the classic "Design Patterns" book. And how about trying to line up some of SUN's original
Java guys like James Gosling? Oh yes, another book I really enjoyed reading last year was "The Pragmatic Programmer" by Andrew Hunt and David Thomas. While not a Java book, I think it is a great software engineering book that is also relevant to Java, and this might fit well into the "Process..." forum. Oh, and the three amigos (Booch, Rumbaugh, and Jacobsen) would be very interesting too. I think I'll better stop now... ;-)

So what do you guys think? Are you all inspired to go out and buy a copy of Kevin's book? (this is where you are supposed to all say "yes!" and "absolutely!" and "I bought six!" so that the publishers will keep giving us books to give away
)
Are there any particular authors and books we should try to line up in the future?
