Dear All,
Hey,
I am an Absolute starter in XML (have not even bought the book). I wanted to know whether the IBM exam (140) available in New Delhi, INDIA.
Also, which is a better book (for SCJP2) "XML Insider" or "XML Bible" I read the complete post of Ajith on starting with XML.
Bye,
Thanks in advance,
Tualha Khan
PS: Question about availibilty of exam in New Delhi, INDIA is very very important.

Go to www.2test.com and walk through the registration process( you don't have to finish it! ) to findout if there are centres in India. Since the IBM test is administered through the same agency that does the SCJP exams ( Sylvan Prometric ), I'm sure they have centres in India.
Good luck

Both the books you have quoted are related to XML and has nothing what so ever, to do with SCJP exam!!

Dear Ajith,
Hey,
Sorry! made the statement a bit too confusing, what i meant was, which book out of the two will be better for me as I am not an absolute fresher in IT field. I have cleared SCJP and now wish to have another certificate. Please consider the question again.
As far as the exam center was concerned, thanks, I got the location. It is being held at approx. 5 or 6 centers in New Delhi,INDIA.

Thanks a lot,
Bye,
Tualha Khan

Certification is not a panacea. Which one you should chose certainly depends on your career goals. XML is an evolving technology and has a great potential to revolutionize the world of IT-Commerce( not eCommerce!! ). IBM's certification is the only industry standard XML certification available as of today.
If you want to persue your career in the Java/Enterprise application field, XML certification will definitely help you.
Good luck,
