Job description
We are seeking a talented and experienced
J2EE Programmer to integrate/lead our off-shore development team. The product is developed on the Google Web Toolkit and is considered so far as the biggest project undertaken on google�s platform so far. Other Open Source technologies are used throughout the project and the next new major module to be developed and integrated into the platform is an XMPP instant messaging module based on Jabber.
This challenging position requires a high level developer profile.
You will integrate our Sandblue
java team and work directly with the customer on-shore development team in Brussels.
Profile
You need to be fully skilled and experienced to design and build advanced J2EE critical applications. Extensive knowledge of Open Standard (e.g. Webdav, XMPP �) and Open Source frameworks (e.g. Spring �), sense of achievement and initiative, autonomy and good communication skills are a must.
The role will entail:
�Push forward the development of the product releases based on GWT
�Design, develop,
test and integrate new modules (e.g. Instant messaging based on Jabber �)
�Participate to architectural discussions and decisions
Requirements
�Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent computer skills
�Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the design and development creation of J2EE web business critical applications
�High level expertise into state of the art application development techniques (OOP, OODBMS, SOA, AOP,
Patterns �) is a must
�Expertise into new kind of applications architecture such Mashup, Mobile Application (OMA DS/DM (SyncML)), Comet (Http push) is an asset
�Expertise in Google technologies (i.e. Google Code) such as GWT and Opensocial is an asset.
�Expertise into Open Source framework such as Spring, Lucene, � is an asset
�Good English communication skills is a must
