Hi everyone,
I need to validate a built DOM against a XML Schema. Is there a way to perform that ?
If not, how can I validate an XML file ?
Later, I must transform my DOM object into XML to store it into a database. If there is a reference to my XSD file, will the transformer perform the validation (or does it only check well-formedness?) ?
Can anyone help ?
Thanks
Christophe

I have not used it for this myself but I believe Xerces-J supports XSchema. You can check it out at http://xml.apache.org/xerces2-j/index.html.
Also there is a page with a list of tools and links http://www.w3.org/XML/Schema#Tools.

Well validation with Xerces works well with DTD but seems not working with XML Schema ?
Is there something particular to do while validating with XML Schema ?
Thanks if someone could tell me!!
Regards,
Christophe
