Java Engineer to join a team to develop next generation mobile 2.0 content for an entertainment services company. SENIOR JAVA ENGINEER (Local candidates only; sorry no H1B)
Position Summary The Senior Software Engineer will report to the CTO and will be responsible for building new mobile games and applications using xHTML,
JSP, Spring, Hibernate, & mySQL. This position provides the opportunity to work with a small team and contribute in a variety of areas.
Responsibilities - Develop and
test server side Java with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
- Develop and test client side JSP and xHTML
- Own implementation of server side code for new features on the Tapatap mobile site.
- Active contributor to new design and technology choices
Requirements - 2+ Years of experience with Spring/SpringMVC/Hibernate
- 5+ Years of experience in web development
- 5+ Years experience with Java
- Strong OO Skills
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment with minimal supervision
- Self-starter, willing to learn things by digging in
Desired - Web 2.0 development experience a strong plus (AJAX, Prototype/JQuery)
- Experience with Spring WebFlow a strong plus.
- Experience in consumer focused sites, entertainment.
- MySQL experience
Education BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred
