Howdy !

I need a little help here. I'm about to make a routine that's recieving a CLOB as an input paramter, containing af full XML document. This XML document contain besides other things, a binary PDF document. My challenge is to extract this document from the XML-clob - and convert this to a Oracle Blob out-paramter, which can be stored in the database, by some other routine.

a) How do I locate the specific tag in the clob?
b) How do I extract the value off that tag?
c) Does the value have to be transformed/encoded - as it must be in text form originally?
d) Does the above make any sense?
