Hi!
You got any opinion of TOGAF?

I am considering it which means spending about USD 2000 and there are hardly anyone around with whom i can discuss positives and negatives of going for it!

So i thought i would ask here, in case you got any opinion or any experience of it?

Thanks

p.s.: MODs, i know this isn't exactly Meaningless or Drivel however i could not find any appropiate forum to discuss it and its quite imp for me so if psbl, please let it go.

I would think this question would be better served by the Agile and Other Processes forum.
I've never heard of TOGAF, but I'm not really in the enterprise planning game.
What are you planning to do with the specification? In the Google search you specify, there's an IBM-authored introduction that would probably be informative. Do you have any practical enterprise experience? That's probably your first hurdle.

Thanks for transferring it to the "right" forum.

I have read all links from Google search but i am looking forward to someone who actually tried it or has heard about it at work place.

Hope someone replies in this forum...

TOGAF is a higher level architecture framework. It is why most Java developers/architects do not know it.
