Laptop freeze

Hi,
Since last few months i been noticing that if i put my laptop on my lap or pillow, the screen of laptop gets frozen and i have reboot it. But if i put on specific table it will work for moretime and when i will move my laptop on the table again will get frozen.

why? Any good solution.

It could be that the air ventilator inputs/outputs are getting blocked by loose clothing or bedding material. Loosly fitting tablecloths can also have same effect. The result is overheating of all the internal gubbins. On a flat surface the air can circulate better.

Take a look at the ventilator grills do they need cleaning?

Please don't try it out in the bath

Also could be something loose inside: most likely the memory module, which is often accessible via a cover on the bottom.

How to fix that?



Remove above referenced "cover on the bottom". Locate and reseat above referenced "memory module". Repeat as needed for any other loose parts that may be discovered.
