Invalid archive directory

Hii all,

I downloaded a zip file from a site.When i tried to open the file it say

Invalid archive directory. what could be the reason?

I think the archive directory is invalid.

It is definitely because the directory of the archive you downloaded is invalid.

Hope this makes sense.

There's so much to learn in this industry, and not everybody has the necessary interest.

Thanks guys,

the problem was i was saving the downloaded file with .gz extension.

Now with .zip extension i can open that file. Silly mistake
