I created a private key by openssl without encryption, then I tried to import to my keystore by keytool, but I always got errors: "Input is not X.509 certificate". Could you explain it ?

As I understand, signed certificates can come in varies formats. The standard format is X.509. It sounds as if the certificate you tried to import was not in X.509 format.

The file you have pasted is a private key / certificate in what they call PEM format.
Keytool (at least for jdk1.3.1) only understands DER format private keys, so you need to convert from PEM to DER using some tool like openssl...
