Connecting to LDAP server using SSL

I receive following error message (during SSL based connection with the LDAP server):

Could not find trusted cert in chain.
main, SEND SSL v3.1 ALERT: fatal, description = certificate_unknown
main, WRITE: SSL v3.1 Alert, length = 2


I have CA certifictes trusted on keystore; I can see them when using

keytool -list

C:\ldapbrowser>keytool -list
Enter keystore password: changeit

Keystore type: jks
Keystore provider: SUN

Any pointers on what I am missing to make a successful connection?
